(Saba'a) 34 : 47
قُلْ مَا سَأَلْتُكُمْ مِنْ أَجْرٍ فَهُوَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
You say: I do not ask you for any reward, that is for you; indeed my reward is not except upon Allah, and He is a Witness upon each and everything.
Prophets and believers of every period are commanded to tell the people that I do not ask for any reward for conveying the Lord’s Message Adhikr. They will also tell you that if you utilize the Lord’s Message Adhikr, its benefit is to you. Those who accept any reward for conveying the Lord’s Book, he is not filling his bellies with anything except fire as told in verses 2: 174-175. See explanation 3: 187; 10: 61; 25: 57; 38: 86.
